product applications. They are 100% recyclable and accepted in any country. We can also manufacture the container liners out of heavier material and increase the height of the liner walls for larger cargo loading capacity.
Liner Specifications
- Must be designed for specific purpose of lining intermodal shipping containers or domestic truck trailers.
- The outer floor of the liner must be constructed of a non-woven poly material with a minimum thickness of 6 mil going up to 21 mil.
- The sides of the liner must be constructed of a non-woven or woven poly material with a minimum thickness of 6 mil and to a height on the side of the container of at least 72 inches to accommodate double-stacked pallets.
- The front of the liner must have corners sealed into it similar to the interior dimensions of the container.
- The liner must have grommets or eyelets sewn into at the upper edge for tying, and must be equipped with ropes or straps suitable for tying to the tie-points inside the container. Taping the liner to the container or taping the ropes or straps to the liner is not acceptable.
- The length of the liner must be adequate to allow the excess material to be folded up around the product in the doorway of the container and tied up at the tie-points.
- All of our liners come with double floors so that you can drive a Bobcat or Forklift into it to load pallets or loading loose material with the Bobcat. The inner floor is a minimum of 3oz coated Polypropylene material. Heavier floors are available for extra heavy duty use.
Liner Installation
- The carrier will be responsible to properly install the liner prior to delivery at the customers plant. The customer must inspect the liner before filling to check for correct installation.
- The container itself cannot have any exposed nails or other sharp objects that may cause damage to the double floor liner.
- Our liners come with extra strings in all of the bottom corners of the liner so that the liner is properly centered in the container with the corners of the liner between the floor and the front and sidewalls and between the front wall and sidewalls aligned with the corresponding corners in the container (see attached pictures).
- The liner ropes or straps must be tied to the container using a slip knot so that if the liner is pulled down it can do so without tearing free of the ropes or straps.
- The bottom and sides of the liner must be pulled taut in the container to remove any wrinkles in the liner that could be inadvertently caught or pinched by the pallets or forklift.
- Our liners can be filled and used for dumping by picking the container up on an angle to empty the container. The liners are 100% recyclable.
- The customer will be responsible to fold up and secure the end flap of the liner after loading (not the driver).
